Before we leave Absalom Station, and analyzing info from Starfinder Society, we took a box to Venn that we found in maintenance tunnels. Sresaka got sprayed before I could say it was a trap. Luckily the spore hallucinations cleared it in a few hours.

Back to ship: it took 12 hours to get to Amber’s last known location, which had a signal similar tsignal o a Star Stone. We arrived in a new system and scanned it for a day to find it’s filled with gravity wells: A central star plus several planets, and a familiar distress beacon, which we follow to a planet. Brock picked up small artificial satellite like a station orbiting Distress Signal Planet. So, we approach the Station orbiting the planet first. As Widget just said, woo.

Too many weird things are happening in this station. Other than the robot fighting we’ve not enjoyed, the cousin and sister not really remembering anything personal from our childhood and elective surgeries for upgrades we’ve had, it’s been confusing. We also found some shipping labels in one of the maintenance tunnels we were checking out for Venn. We decided to check with him and see if we should go back to Akiton, as the destination on the shipping labels seem to be headed that way. I hope they weren’t sending tashtari there. I think it might be too cold for them…. and as we’re telling Venn in person, he breaks the news that Amber and a group from the Starfinder Society had a ship traveling through the Vast to check some previously unknown planet. They sent a distress signal three days ago that just got here. Maybe we should go look for them? I feel like we can maybe ask Cornpuff and Jasmine to go to Akiton instead, but they themselves are a mystery. Venn can sort it out.

I just caught Widget talking in some kind of meeting with a bunch of other robots and AIs. I think he was explaining his latest invention. It reminds me of something, but I can’t remember what.

My God! I was only away two minutes!

So, I suggest we leave the club, since Ash and S’resaka weren’t looking too good. Darn robots managed to follow us outside, and they were still shooting! It took us a while to take out both, but we got help from a pair of ysoki up the road. We of course ran to them, only to find Cornpuff and Jasmine were, somehow, helping us. I kinda feel like they don’t recognize us (even if we are sort of related!) though. I’m not even sure how they found us.

So, we go to the Undercarriage Club. It’s not a nice place to be today, as we are nearly to the front entrance and we hear gunfire. We run towards it. Of course we do! Not one of the dozen patrons are left alive to talk to, unless you count the assassin-bot.

Oh, wait, there’s a second one. Time to regroup!

Well, station security doesn’t seem to move quickly, but they seemed to believe we fought in an ambush. Apparently, when you loot the bodies after a skirmish, it makes them look like victims. Widget had recorded everything, which helped, as did mentioning Venn. When they finished up their reports, we headed to Reli’s Remedies. That was… enlightening.

We managed to pick up what amounts to be a rumor. Some Vesk called Zil is claiming we have her AI. We don’t. Unless it’s some inanimate object on our ship that I’ve never met. If she gets too close to the ship, we’ll scan her and see if she’s a doppelganger.

Anyway, we proceed down to Level 42. Lots of twisting, narrow passages and alleys. We bumped into a meek, dented utility bot named Vic. He did not wish to be liberated from the area. He’s trading information for recharges, maybe? At any rate, Vic knows the area, and was able to tell us which of the many pubs Knuckles is likely to be in.
