We opted to rest in the room we found Amber and Mez’chef in. We’d all suffered either physical or tech damage. The night(?) passed uneventfully.
When we did leave, we were stealthy, and kept eyes on every tunnel or entrance we had to pass, with the intention of going out the same direction we came in through. Widget hears electricity in the walls. I wish I had time to figure that out!
We got to the stairs leading up to the surface, when a pseudopod zipped down the staircase and started to attack us! It was some sort of ooze. I swear I saw some old pieces of damaged tech floating in the clear creature, hopefully from our old escape pod, and not our ship.
We killed it. Widget though he felt better (did he even touch it?) and admittedly, some of the tech in it actually looked new, not as damaged as I thought. Before we could try to figure out what the dead ooze had in it, we heard heavy footsteps behind us….
