We docked with a station above the planet we now know is called Cavan. I admit to not feeling so well, and even Sresaka is looking less green around the gills. We’ve encountered non-shielded radioactivity. We fixed that first, of course!
In due course, we checked every room, stateroom, and dining areas, finding 19 year’s worth of records from 302 year’s ago, as well as some datapads. We did learn that the former occupants looked a bit like the kathasis– only two arms though. But tall, with elongated skulls. And the handy fueling cum research station.
They had no interstellar travel, these “calvanites,” but they did manage the 50′ diameter space station, and had records on their reseach, and station sensors. Oh, and also the massive energy spike that must have wiped out all the planet’s tech, as well as, I’m guessing, the population of the planet. Unless they are hiding. The spike was caused by an attempt to create clean energy. We’ll go through the research data to see what happened. We are 302 years too late to help the original occupants, but hopefully the Starfinder Society group is okay.
Now to determine if they are in the jungles below, or in one of the ruined cities. Widget is concerned that tech won’t work down there, and he’s probably concerned that he’s tech himself.
