The bots attacking us were easy to destroy once we applied electricity. And then the train stopped and the side door opened to our car. Fearing more assassin robots, we stayed armed as we went to the door. A bunch of concerned citizens were standing at the door, including some sort of security personnel and miscellaneous nosy abollonians. They said they would clean up our mess and give us a new train car. I yelled, “I don’t think we have enough ammo for another train ride.” They insisted that we had implied that we didn’t want security. Their basis for that was that we got on the train before APU47 or APU102 and the door closed. I yelled back that the door closed because the train started moving. They also claimed we didn’t seem to mind the extra passengers on our Ambassadors’ car. Reasoning being that the assassins had purchased tickets. I think my screaming must have hit a range that they couldn’t hear. They had best not charge us for damaging the car with Sresaka’s blood and random bullet holes.
We got on the train with the condition that they find the assassin bots senders, and that head of security for Automatrix come to our ship after we got some sleep in a safer area. Besides, we had to fix the suit for the the celi that was damaged in the attack.
I left a message for Venn about the situation. I’m getting paranoid. We got Sresaka patched up, Ash fixed the Celi’s suit, and I’m sure Lexx called somebody in the Office of the Directorate to get any recommendations. Widget tells me any rogue bots that may or may not be living in the PDSU maintenance tunnels are too scared to leave the safety of the ship. That tells me all I need to know.
However, the head of Security from Automatrix gave us a very respectful apology when he caught up to us. ARK9. I hope he’s more competent than his older brother. Oh, he apparently is. They already caught two ysoki who sent the bots after us. Brickyard, a fat, gray ysoki, and his thinner coconspirator with beige coloring called Crankshaft. They had arrived here from Absalom Station a year earlier. I probably should have asked whose year, but I suspect they meant year on Absalom Station.
I should know better than to yell at bots and people in authority. Traveling has always helped me, but maybe not with ambassadors around. Venn usually helps me, too, but I gather he was called away from the station for an emergency. Before we had an emergency. I guess the Celi are still enjoying the tour of the Pact Worlds.
