The PDSU is on its 2-day trip back to Absalom Station via driftspace when it passes a Vesk Norikama dropship Valiant. The Vesk ship turns to follow.... The crew flies the PDSU into an asteroid field, and drops out of Drift before the Valiant, which has shot the Please Don't Shoot Us. The trip is recalculated and the ship is back on the way to Absalom. Right before they encounter another ship, they drop out of Drift into a neutron star. And back to Drift again, where they encounter a ship.... The ship belongs to AbadarCorp. Luckily (for a fee!), the crew is treated for radiation poisoning, and return to their voyage home.
